ENSEMBLES AND CHOIRS
Six vocal ensembles make up the program at LHS, and many of the members are outstanding student leaders, athletes and scholars. The concert season includes traditional concerts, a staged and choreographed musical revue, and an annual Renaissance Madrigal Dinner. Every other year Chorale travels out-of-state or overseas on a concert tour. Previous tours have included Austria/Germany, New York City, Ireland, Washington, D.C., the Annual Linz Invitational Choral Festival, a concert tour of Budapest, Vienna, and Venice, Czech Republic, Spain, Canada, and Croatia.

CHORALE
"Chorale" is the Varsity Mixed Ensemble comprised of mainly junior and senior students. Chorale’s concert season includes traditional concerts of “classic” choral music, a staged and choreographed Musical revue, and an annual Renaissance Madrigal Dinner. Every other year, Chorale travels out-of-state or overseas on a concert tour.



FRESHMAN
Freshman Tenor/Bass and Treble Choirs are beginning and intermediate high school choirs. The choirs concentrate on beginning and intermediate music skills- sight-reading and music literacy skills and performance skills. The Freshman Choirs participate in all UIL competitions and all concerts and performances. In the spring the choirs compete at the Six Flags Music Festival in Arlington, Texas.
MEN'S
Men’s Ensemble, the beginning and intermediate tenor-bass ensemble, is comprised of sophomore, junior, and senior men. The members of Men’s Choir participate in UIL competitions and all concerts and performances during the year. This ensemble concentrates on developing a solid background of sight-reading skills, music literacy, and performance skills.

WOMEN'S
Ladies’ Ensemble is an advanced treble ensemble comprised of sophomore, junior, and senior women. They participate in all UIL & TMEA competitions and all concerts and performances throughout the concert season. The focus of this ensemble is to continue to develop advanced sight-reading and performance skills.
