  • Hair & Make-up- Concert appropriate

SUNDAY, June 6 SCHEDULE
Trinity Pres Church, 2800 W. Louisiana

  • 3:00 Origin Warm-Up
  • 3:30 Chorale WU
  • 5:00 Concert
    • Come dressed
    • Origin bring your Origin stuff

IMPORTANT & REQUIRED:

  • Mon., June 7 7:00pm Final Trip Meeting- Choir Rm
    • You & your parent must attend
    • This will take about an hour. Final itinerary & Rules & Regs

  • Tues., June 8 Luggage Check (Choir Ens. Rm) Chaperones- please be available to check luggage
    • Carry-on & Checked bags
    • BE ON TIME!
    • 7:00pm MEN

    • 8:00pm Chaperone Meeting

RANDOM INFO:

  1. Find your gray choir shirt! We will wear them on the plane. You may wear NICE sweat pants (not pajama pants)
  2. Booster Club will give you $ for your luggage fees (round trip) and $30.
  3. You have not purchased your Trip Polo. Bring $ to Monday’s trip meeting

LADIES

  1. Black skirt or dress (to-the-knee) or black dress pants (no capri’s)
  2. Black top from Broadway Revue
  3. Black top or camisole to wear under cardigan
  4. “choir” Cardigan
  5. Tux pants
  6. Nice khaki pants (not capri’s or shorts) or khaki skirt (to-the-knee)
  7. Collared knit polo shirt
  8. You may wear shorts or capri’s when we are not singing BUT they must be neat and shorts must be TO-THE-KNEE!
  9. No “t-shirts” with logos and such
  10. No tatters or holes

MEN

  1. Black dress slacks
  2. Khaki dress slacks
  3. 2 Long-sleeved dress shirts (pastel yellow, pink, blue or green, purple)
  4. Tie(s) to match dress shirt (your choice)
  5. BELT! When we perform- shirt tails will be tucked in WITH BELT!
  6. Collared shirts at all times (no t-shirts)
  7. You may wear shorts when we are not singing BUT they must be NEAT!
  8. No “t-shirts” with logos and such
  9. No tatters or holes. No cut-off shirts or muscle shirts.

GENERAL PACKING TIPS

  1. Travel LIGHT! If you have to think twice about it, don’t bring it! Remember, you’re going to be carrying your own bags.
  2. Pack separates that can coordinate with 2-4 items in your wardrobe.
  3. You can get by with 2-3 pants, 4-5 shirts, windbreaker, and belt.
  4. Toiletries- Use sample –sized toiletries or put your toiletries into small leak proof plastic containers.
  5. Never pack money, valuables or medicines in your checked bag!
  6. Your ID must be on your person!

LUGGAGE RESTRICTIONS

  • 1 Bag to be checked- Not to exceed 62 in. and 50 lbs.
  • 1 Carry-on- Overall dimensions max 45 in. (not to exceed 22 x 14 x 9- must fit in overhead bin or under seat). Combined weight of carry-on & personal item (ex. purse) not to exceed 40lbs.

URGENT & CRUCIAL- Concerning IDs:

If a student is 18 or older and does not have a driver’s license, state issued photo ID or passport, they must go to the DMV and get an ID card. If the student is 17 or younger, any photo ID like a school ID will work.

Washington, D.C. Tour Letter #1 (5-26-10)
This is the first letter concerning our DC Tour.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR EVERYONE:

Necessary and non-negotiable

  1. Comfortable walking shoes are a must. (No flip-flops)
  2. Plan on bringing $100 cash for “incidentals”. All meals are included in the tour with exception of lunches (2) at the airport.
  3. A small carry-on bag or gym bag. Most days, once we leave the hotel, we will not return until late at night. So, you must take a change of clothes or concert wear in a small carry –on bag or gym bag.
  4. Photo ID w/info matching exactly what you turned in. YOUR DRIVER’S LICENSE MUST BE CURRENT- IT CANNOT BE OUT-OF-DATE!
  5. A watch- yes, really!
  6. Sunglasses
  7. A hat- (for outside only)

Have correct clothes for the following activities:
Day Events:

  1. Traveling on bus & plane
  2. Daily sight-seeing- walking (lots of walking!) and on bus
  3. Informal & Formal Concerts

Evening Events:

  1. Baseball game
  2. Ghost Tour of Alexandria
  3. Cirque Dreams- Illumination at Wolf Trap
  4. Dinner Cruise on the Potomac

CONCERNING THE ITINERARY

  • We will be bussing to DFW Airport very early Wednesday morning, June 9.

  • We must report for Check-in at American Airlines no later than 10:45am.

  • We will return on June 14… Arrival at DFW around 7:45pm. Bus home. Arrival late.

  • Monday, June 7- 7:00pm FINAL TRIP MEETING

  • Tuesday, June 8 (times to be announced- evening) Luggage Check-In
